I never met my grandfather; Julius Kaiser so I don’t know which of these men was him. He was born on May 1, 1860 in Baden, Germany.
My Grandfather, Julius learned the brewing business in Germany and brought those skills to America, where he eventually became the vice president of the West Bay City Brewing Company that was destroyed by fire and arose back up as the Phoenix Brewing Company.
"My father, Julius Jr., worked in the brewery and I remember the thrill, as a child, when I visited him at work and he held me up to look into the vast copper pots used for brewing.
